Jewellery Designer and Goldsmith

        Mogg
  Robinson

Hi!  I'm Rachel, but I've had the nickname Mogg since I was five years  old.  I live in on the small island of Gozo in Malta, in the Mediterranean, where I spend my days sawing, filing, soldering, shaping and polishing silver, before adding gold and gemstones to create unique pieces of jewellery.

I trained as a designer and metalsmith, and worked in museum and gallery education in the UK for 14 years before a move to Gozo in 2008 saw me return to professional jewellery making.  I currently work from a small home studio which can be visited by appointment.

All of my pieces are handmade by me, with no bought components or mass casting.  I'm very influenced by the materials that I find, and am constantly experimenting.  I'm terrible at making lots and lots of the same design in a full range of sizes, and many designs are one off pieces.  Please bare this in mind when shopping, and either contact me quickly if you spot a piece for sale (usually listed here in the shop or on my facebook page) or allow plenty of time if you'd like me to create a piece especially for you.
